Botanical Garden	This is a must visit place if you are at Ooty. Located within the city limit this garden started on 1848 A.D. Average rain fall here is 140 cm. Maximum temperature goes upto 28 degree centigrade. Minimum temperature falls upto 0 degree centigrade in winter. This garden covers an area of 22 Ha and is located at a height of 2250 meters of MSL. There is a beautiful green lawn and there are trees collected from different parts of the world. There is a Italian garden and Lilly pond with color full flowers.
The Thread Garden	Thread Garden OOTY. This place is an amazing collection of flowers. But, differently these are not Natural flowers but completely made out of Threads. Because of this reason the name has been given as the thread Garden. The power of man kind could be seen when we visit this place. Without machines a hundred percent handcraft beauties are created. People say it took twelve years to create this fantasy. The difference between Natural and woven thread flowers could not be found easily. To that extent the perfection is seen.
Mini Garden	Mini garden is also situated on the way to the boathouse where the children amusement park is housed.
Rose Garden	The Rose Garden is situated about 3 to 4-km away from Charring Cross
V O C Park	VOC park in Coimbatore named after the freedom fighter V.O.Chidambaram, this park is maintained by the Corporation. There is a mini-zoo and joy train in the park
Sim's Park	Sim's park is a beautiful park famous for vivid varieties of fruits.Thus, it is a very important site for the tourists. It is situated in coonoor.
Bryant Parks	Byrant park kodaikanal, the practical utility of this park is, in every May a horticultural show is conducted by the department of Horticulture. On that occasion enormous vegetables and flowers from neighbouring villages compete for the prizes, which draws big crowd. They exhibit flowers, vegetables, fruits and other products. It serves as a practical centre for education on Ornamental Horticulture and as a demonstration centre. The various methods of training, pruning, budding, grafting, potting seed collection etc, are taught to the students of Horticulture as well as to the visitors.
Chettiar Park	Chettiar park kodaikanal, managed by the township, is on the way to the Kurunji Temple. It is 3.2 kms from the Bus Stand. Unlike other areas this park is very quite, and those who love calm timepassing can prefer this park.
